Closer

A small mobile app for staying in touch on purpose.

Closer is a lightweight mobile app for keeping up with the people you actually want to keep up with. You choose the rhythm; it keeps the list short.

Development notes

A private, offline relationship-graph app in Flutter, one-shot from a 700-line brief where half the spec was non-goals — no accounts, no server, no streaks, nothing to make you feel guilty. Shipping it taught me more than building it: two stores with incompatible rules on something as small as a tip jar, screenshot dimensions no real device produces, and a review paused not for a bug but for seven written answers about flows the app deliberately doesn't have.

What's in it

• — Per-person contact rhythms
• — No feed, no accounts
• — Local-only data
