Gold Rush! Down the Line

A turn-based mining puzzle — one mine under every Singapore MRT station, and gold only counts once you get it home.

Gold Rush! Down the Line puts a miner under each of Singapore's 146 MRT stations. Every swing of the pickaxe costs stamina, which never comes back during a run, and the gold in your pouch is only yours once you carry it back to the surface. Each mine is deterministic, so a lost run is a lesson rather than bad luck. The East–West line is free; the other lines are one-time unlocks.

Development notes

The lesson from the backlog, applied here from the start: design the curve, not the levels. Difficulty is one number per station, how much of the stamina budget a perfect run leaves spare, rising along each line on a curve chosen before any mine existed. A generator builds every level to hit its point on that curve and a perfect-information bot proves it, so balance was never a tuning pass. The few edge cases that did appear were fixed by moving a number, not by replaying 146 mines.
